On November 26, 2017, workshop titled "Future horizon for renewable energy in Palestine" has been held in the Islamic University. The workshop hosted 6 lectures. It started with two presentations: the first one is taped lecture given by prof. Prof. Christoph Pfeifer and Dr. Rafat Al Afif ( Boku) titled "Implementing the maker movement to renewable energy lap -The case of auto-tracking photo voltaic model". The second talk is given by Prof. Hala El-Khozonar titled "nanocomposite and solar cells". After short break two more presentations are given: the first one which is taped by Dr. Mansour Alramalwee (currently in Germany) titled " Micro-grid Concepts and Applications" and the second by Dr. Moayed Almobaied titled " Alternative Resources for Renewable Energy: Piezoelectric". The final part consists of two lectures: one is given by Eng. Alaa Awda who works at ministry of health and titled "Engineering specifications for solar energy systems approved by the Palestinian Ministry of Health" and the other is tapped lecture given by Dr. Waled Issa who is currently in England titled "Integrated Solar System Solutions in Smart Building".
